People who are angry or concerned for her safety think about this. Orphan baby cheetah. Wildlife center is closed. You can’t leave it to die since the species is vulnerable to extinction. So you foster her until the center is open the next day. And you tie her up so she doesn’t get hurt or lost. And she is an wild animal so risk of yourself getting hurt is possible she may have disease. Her eyes are watery which possibly means diseases that could get you or your pets sick. But I agree that her leash should have some slack so she can move a little bit which is important for an animal who needs regular exercise. Orrrrr.... you are fostering her for the weekend because the center can’t have her alone and she is tied so she can get used to the place and not overwhelmed due to the fact that she is likely an orphan. So please don’t hate on these people because you don’t know their intentions they could be good people who want to help this baby. But yeah her leash needs some slack. That must hurt that poor baby!!!

Why so much criticism for wrapping the leash round the table leg? Do people not realise it might be for the cheetah's own safety? We keep human babies in cots and cribs they can't get out of. We make sure our toddlers can't just wander out into the road. Maybe they are preventing this inexperienced baby cheetah getting out of the house and getting lost - or worse - until it learns the ways of the world.

It’s on the floor on a dog blanket or something, probably tethered so it doesn’t run out into the open outside - Might be a rescue, agree it doesn’t belong as a pet, but there’s nothing saying that’s what it is
