Hi! Thank you so much for watching this video. Some people are curious about what this kind of monkey is. So please let me explain a little bit. The SiChuan Golden Snub-nosed Monkey lives in SiChuan, China, where it is also known as the same habitat of the Giant Panda. According to the CITES, now there are only about 3000 wild SiChuan Golden Snub-nosed Monkeys in the world. To protect them, it has been certified as the first class national protected animal in China. We can’t and shouldn’t trade or hunt this cute creature. This video was shot from Sichuan Wildlife Nursery Center. The monkey eating nuts in this video is named 大宝DaBao (means ‘’Big treasure’’ in Chinese), also the leader of his monkey group. These adorable cuties are from very cold regions in China. The way their noses are situated on their faces so close to their skulls is so they don’t get frostbite. I love these little guys and have done a lot of research about them. They are such fascinating creatures! ❤️

He’s like something out of a Dr Seuss book… Oh the cutest monkey I ever did see Was a golden snub-nosed one up in a tree! With fur soft and fluffy, a bright golden hue And a round little face with a snout short and few. He swung and he played through the branches up high With acrobat skills, he could twirl and could fly! He nibbled on berries and munched little bugs then settled down for a nice monkey hug. I watched him all day without making a peep And wished he could stay there with me in a keep! But alas he was wild and deserved to be free So I bid my friend adieu up in that tree. Goodbye little golden fluff ball of delight! You made this day happy from morning to night!
