I love the thing Nate does when he points out destinations. It really helps to give perspective on what is, after all, a 2-dimensional experience.

I recently found your Vlog and have been watching some of your old ones, particularly of the places I have been. In 2011, for my 53rd birthday, I did a 5 day hike on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with Mountain Lodges of Peru. They were fantastic and I've recommended them to numerous people over the years. I refer to it as "luxury hiking" because we had a route chef that went with us, donkies that carried the provisions, a 911 horse and all we had to do was carry our personal backbacks. We hiked from lodge to lodge and at the end of each day's hike, while you soaked in the hot tub, the chef prepared excellent dinners. It was the highest I have ever been, as we went over the Salkantay pass at 15,253 ft. Not bad for a guy who has lived at sea leval in South Florida for over 40 years. Dan

What a beautiful hike in such a great place. Those children were so sweet, well behaved and mannerly. I wonder if it's lack of exposure to commercialism and technology that allows them to stay so personable. They learn at a young age to interact with the people and the land around them, and submerse themselves in living in the moment. It's actually pretty amazing.

If you click the "uploads" -> "View All" then that is all our videos in order newest - oldest. Or if you click the "Playlists" tab, find "Mountain Lodges of Peru" they are all in order there as well :) There are non-hiking options each day of this tour! You can do a cultural activity and then take a van to the next lodge. We had an older couple in our group who did that and loved it :) Hope you can do this tour!!! It's incredible! Good luck and let us know if you have questions :)

A little disappointing you guys are doing the "luxury version", was rather hoping that you may have done the traditional Inca Trail trek to Macchu Picchu. Did it 4 years ago and was hoping to relive some of that trek through your vlogs. Must admit though the quality of the lodges is amazing. I have visited many of the countries that you have visited and yet my most outstanding memory of all my travel was my first view of Macchu Picchu from high up near the sun gate. I like many of the group I hiked with had tears in our eyes when we first laid our eyes on it. Hope you guys get a similar buzz.
