My favorite part is that they clearly rehearsed this. Hikari raises her arms perfectly in sync for when Nozomi comes to pick her up. On top of that, each dance an mockery they do is perfectly aligned. The amount of free time they must've spent just to cutely mock you makes me really happy. Mesugakis are the best.

On the world building side of things, making the halo people near immortal is the brightest idea. It allow writers to make set pieces of action x slapstick comedy that would have make even a younger Jackie Chan sweat bullets. No one in film making industry would have dared making trains doing multi track drifting. Trains with missile launchers and machine guns mounted on them. While 2 brats are doing synchronized dance moves to taunt you. This would not have worked in live action films.

This!!! They could've just done a simple train chase like what they did at the beginning of the boss fight, but they went above and beyond! A chase with two brats making fun of you, and a train JUMPING right in front of your eyes trying to stop you? How cool is that!!!
