It would be interesting (especially for those people who say you "killed the grass") to do a before, after and then an after after. Maybe a week after to show the grass green again. (I've watched enough lawn mowing videos that i know this... but some internet warriors need proof!)

Here in Brazil we "kill the grass" the same way. 😂 Only in winter do we cover it with a layer of earth mixed with organic fertilizer.
@Jaemou10 ай бұрын
If only the internet warriors directed their energy into doing a simple Google search on how grass grows instead of going off in the comment section with their bro-science. Within seconds they would discover that the Chlorophyll within the grass cells absorbs light and reflects it back, causing the grass to appear green. Where there is no light (for example near the base of very long grass), the Chlorophyll has no light to absorb and therefore is unable to reflect it back as green which makes that part of the grass stem appear yellow or brown. The same effect can be seen when one moves an object that has been sitting on the grass for some time; the grass underneath has lost its green colour. Not because it is burnt, but because of the lack of light for the Chlorophyll to absorb.

A lot of people haven’t any experience with kikuyu 🎉 They haven’t a clue it’s normal if let grow too long. To keep it green it needs regular lawnmowing
@kristineguetschow913410 ай бұрын
New viewers have no idea the grass is brown under the green until it grows out. It’s not the same people asking that question in every video. Actually, I thought he needed to raise up the blades cuz he had them too low and was killing the grass. If we don’t do this type of work, how could we possibly know?

@allanmowz10 ай бұрын
@@kristineguetschow9134 further information. Kikuyu, from the African tribe in the area it comes from, also spreads underground. He could literally cut it at dirt and it would grow back fast. It's extremely hard wearing and we use it for council lawns and sports fields as it's self healing. But will eat a car if not maintained (see his previous videos for actual car).
