😮 oh my gosh, these are the type of cuticles I have they seem to be this soft, almost waxy like clear Cuticle film that grow on the nail bed. I could never figure out how to remove it properly and any pressure would hurt because it’s soft. I never could push back a cuticle and I wondered why everybody else good and I couldn’t and how come I always had the film!😂. Now I know😅 🙏 thank you for this video. It’s what I’ve been looking for.🙌❤️

Thank you Anastasia! I’ve combed through every one of your dry manicure videos on different types of cuticles and mine are like this! I always try to be careful to only trim dead tissue but the sidewalls are always torn up and peeling or redden from just the least amount of red abrasive flame bit or even safe cuticle (no cut) bits!. I had to go back to using a glass file/cuticle pusher with a cone end to make sure I didn’t “dislodge” that tender eponychium at all, only get the sticky cuticle off the nail plate. Needless to say that took forever !! I’m going to look for one of the stone bits!

My sisters cuticles are just like this! It’s always frustrating that I can’t get the gel polish as close as I’d like to, but lucky for her she’s not just any client and can have her nails done as often as she likes by me 😅

I only started doing my own nails about 3 weeks ago and the first thought I had was "WHY CAN'T I GET UNDER MY CUTICLES LIKE THESE PEOPLE?". Mine hardly grow at all, I can push them very gently and get like a 1mm edge that I can clean off. Did my second set of full cover soft gel yesterday so I just left a gap and filled it with the Varnail reinforce gel. Love your vids (binge watching) and those nails are so Easter Egg *puts silver foil on shopping list*.

the very first bottle of uv color gel i ever got was Gellen and i never seen this brand before until now. i really liked it tho and a friend gave it to me, because when she got it she didn’t know it needed to be cured under a light. i had a lamp i used for a clear top coat and never planned on even getting color gel because i just used a gel top coat over regular polish. i’ve since gotten allot of color gels and gave all my regular nail polishes to my 9 year old daughter ❤

Finally some answers! I have tried dry manicure on myself like 2 to 3 times and i never got to that look like the other cuticle types fit for it! I always thought I was doing something wrong, my cuticles would end up sore and a little painful, it would always leave a ridge mark of where i tried to file a deep pocket but it just doesn't work for me! My cuticle area is just too small and sensitive, it all makes sense now 😅

What a great spring design. I notice with my Gellen nail colors, when I remove the sticky layer, some color comes off on the lint free wipe. Is that normal with gel polish (this brand) or is it a sign that I am not curing them long enough? Thanks for the video. 🙂

You should do some nail art matching your awesome necklace and earings! Metal studs, nail striping tape, and nail chains over a sand nail color with some dry swipes of teal and brown maybe? I'm going to try it after Easter. You are such an inspiration! 😁

Hey Anna! I love your videos and have been a fan for years! Can you please make a video on the best rechargeable nail drills for professionals? I have seen so many reviews on drills like the Kiara Sky Beyond Pro, Makartt Pro and MelodySusie Jade Plus but I am unsure as to which I should invest in. I think low vibration and a small hand piece is pertinent.

I like the colors you chose. They say Spring! I wonder though how you found the Gellen polishes to work with? I tried them several years ago and my opinion then was that they were watery and the opacity just wasn't good. Hopefully they've changed their formula now. I'm wondering if it would be different if that client would be told to push back the cuticles themselves at least once a day..(and they would do it, lol) it wouldn't be possible for it to grow with and stuck on the nail plate like that, right? 🤔🤔

Have the same cuticles, just way smaller. They are as long as a natural nail is thick. Tbh I never saw a reason to push it back..
