Poor Twi, a zombie in all but mind. She's absolutely worn to the bone with memory loss and mania, but clearly sane; makes this so much more heartbreaking. She's coherent, and able to think, maybe the infection left her mind alone, and somewhat preserved her body because she's an Alicorn? I don't know, but I wish I could give her a hug! Maybe there's hope for her yet, and the world; if her work pays off. Better yet, if she's already infected; she could be ignored by any actual zombies, or even immune to further infection. I can't wait for part two, I'm reeled in! ^^

Interesting. I have a feeling that Twilight has a bad memory because of her cutie mark. If you can't remember or retain anything in your long term memory, then you'll be learning forever. Nonstop research and learning to "help people" and to satisfy her cutie mark infection. Her semi-sanity is probably thanks to both her magic and cutie mark preserving enough of her mind to "learn". Not enough to remember her friends' names or to acknowledge her own infection and bodily decay, but enough to remember Spike, why she was researching, and everything else about her friends. Her other friends may not be so lucky...

I like the stories that literally puts the reader in them. I felt so bad for twilight sparkle, i think why she isn't dead yet is because not only is she an alicorn but a pretty big could be because she hide herself away in her lab which protected her from exposure for a while. Cannot wait for part 2.

This first part with Twilight being locked away while a sickness is happening in Equestria remindes me of that other fanfic "End" by ZaleAcon from years ago that you also read on your channel Scribble. I love stories where they don't tell you exactly happened during the time of the sickness spreading, but at the same time I wanna know all the chaos that unfolded. I wanna know what exactly happened to Twi that landed her down there. I wanna know how LONG she's been down there. I wanna know everything. It would make the story much more interesting. Especially with this particular sickness effecting their Cutie Marks, but also was able to mutate and infect other species somehow? I want answers!! This was a really good start to the story and I'm excited for part two!!

While I'm really glad to see the MLPFIM fandom is sprouting up again despite the show having ended four years ago, I wish the recent popularity wasn't about grimdark AU's, but something more wholesome, like the original message of the show conveyed. But I'm glad people are doing what they're passionate about. Despite this AU stuff not being my forte or interest, I'm grateful that it's led to potentially hundreds of thousands of new MLPFIM fans. :)
