Summary: After being led into the sewers by Rarity - and subsequently losing track of her in an attack by an infected pony she seemed to know - you make your way to the rendezvous spot Rarity told you about before you were separated. You hope to find someone to help you with the things you discovered in Twilight's abandoned laboratory. Instead, you find a tiny clutch of survivors sheltering in an underground cavern, led by a scarred zebra.

Oh darn. I saw the thumbnail and nearly dislocated mine in an over exuberant attempt to hurl my mouse across its pad... because that is a thing. (sigh) I shall wait the two days. Jeez. Learning Applejack is gone hurts. I almost hope Zecora is right, that Rarity actually avoided death's embrace by her sister's hooves... but, even if she did, wouldn't her injuries either eventually lead to her death or, worse, infection? And I fear Apple Bloom's heart will break when she hears there's a chance Rarity is gone... but more so if she comes back infected and has to leave for good to keep them all safe. It would probably feel like losing Applejack all over again. And poorly Zecora. Her hopes for Twilight are so high now... because she has yet to hear all of what our silent MC knows about Twilight’s condition and whereabouts. Also... those sounds during the end credits and image credits... I have a REALLY bad feeling this means and infected, possibly Sweetie Belle or Rarity herself, have found the caves. Things are about to go from bad to GAME OVER! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

In the last two images, her rear appears blank, but if you watch the beginning, her cutie mark is present on her flank. If there’s a meaning, I am not so sure, only time will tell in the future lore.

So, Rarity is in the Unknown Status category I'm hoping she's alive, but she definitely infected if she is alive Also, IS BIG MAC INFECTED?! So many theories, so many possibilities This unique affliction is certainly the main attraction Also, was the dreamless potion some kind of reference to An Apple Sleep Experiment and Another Apple Sleep Experiment? Because it sounds pretty similar to the Sleepless Potion

Im a bit confused on this story. Can someone confirm if im getting it so far? Twilight is infected but seems to be somewhat sane and is finding a cure. She sealed herself away kn her shop. Pinkie lost a leg and eye because pound cake and carrot cake got infected and attacked. Rarity may or may not be infected alive/dead. Sweetiebelle is infected. Apple jack is infected and granny died or infected? Everyone is having nightmares because of the things theyve seen and have lost. Big mac works till he drops so he doesnt think about anything else. Applebloom is just tryng to be strong for big mac?

And trust me, Applebloom, after what I went through to come to this town, and after what I went through after coming coming to Ponyville, I say that it was worth it. Barely anything happened though. Will this have its own continuation? The stranger comes in and gives Zecora the vials and notes, there's a possible break in into the cave and it seems Big Mac is infected, Rarity's status is unknown.

How does him collapsing suggest he's infected? We're told he constantly keeps working so he doesn't fall asleep and think about Granny Smith and Applejack. Finding out he collapsed is logical after that

Ah yes! The almighty cliffhanger. Leaving us at the edge of our seats and begging for more, well done. I just love these Infection AU stories, they are the best. And much like Pinkie Pie I too was still holding out for Rarity surviving the attack in Part 2, but after those extremely ominous sounds of rocks or debris falling and the limping of something at the end, now I'm not so sure anymore, lol. The suspense is killer, I love it. Looking forward for the next episode. Well done Ms. Scribbler and team on the animation, voice acting and sound effects. Keep up the awesome work.
