That's because he is the same. Both of them are causing trouble but LBY, growing up in the palace with scheming people all around , knows how to hide it better. NN doesn't care because she is used of being in trouble even if she doesn't cause it. Those two together are a match in heaven😂

Its trouble for the right reasons. Some get into trouble because they care only about themself or noone. Niao Niao does it for justice and to help others, he can hide it better then her as he was playing in the big leagues longer

@@deborahsethupathy7097 While it makes for a better story I wish it didn't take 5 years for both LBY and NN to get over their various trauma and [mostly] accept each other for what they are. They still aren't 100% there as each other will HAPPILY take foolish risks for the other while the person being rescued doesn't want the rescuer taking those foolish risks. Love the story either way but the 5 year time skip is soul crushing ...

@@arilu89x That's likely part of it. I think he also knows that NN is just trying to protect the people that she loves -- which is laudable 99% of the time however LBY [HBY?] happens to have conflicting interests.

Love, loved this series. It combined humour, pathos and romance seamlessly. I only wish it had showed the marriage…then you know that their family x

Yeah, the only time we saw a teeny tiny wedding scene was in the vision he had when he was delirious. So not satisfying.

They don’t get marry or have kids scenes. I was going to watch but no. There has to be pay off for my investment of my time . WTH Chinese shows and their main leads dying or this kind of ending make me have trust issues with them lol

@@jeb284 I agree with you. They had been engaged before and not married. I wanted to see a stunning wedding!! I’m getting disappointed with these Chinese dramas. Their endings are very weak.

carol, want to see a Wedding and Happy Ending? Try: "New Life Begins" (Custome CDrama). It's my Top Fav! It contains some similarities to this one and also, the ML (6th Royal Young Lord) falls for the FL (quite illiterate rural girl) much earlier than she does. He also plays some sweet tricks to get her hooked. This CDrama also contains various Life Lessons, he's been neglected by his Emperor Father and his Concubine Mother. Humour, Gastronomy, Delightful Soundtracks; etc.
