My mama loved this movie it was her favorite movie she passed away last year I miss her a lot but I know she's in heaven watching over me and my sister. Her death was the Monday before Thanksgiving. I once read a comment under a video from this movie where the poster claimed to have been on the cast for it. They said that the 'chocolate river' tasted really really bad. They said though that Gene Wilder was really really good with kids and basically had a crowd of the kids followed him everywhere he went. The producers had to shoe them away once in a while so he could get some work done because he didn't have to heart to.

Wow. That was unexpected... I sat and bawled through the entire song. I will never watch the Johnny Dep version. I'm sure it is wonderful for kids nowadays, but I feel strongly one should not mess with perfection. I will never watch The Grinch Who Stole Christmas movie with Jim Carey either.
