after using them 3 to 4 years i highly highly recommend getting 2, one with fine tooth to hit and another with deeptooth to bald or trim hair because fine tooth is lousy for that but excellent liner. reggie if you still have your fx trimmer, get the philthyblendz or ecm mod to pop a gold fx blade on the red fx trimmer and bam 4 hrs run time 👍🏻

Finally a video that speaks the truth about theses trimmers. I got 2 pairs of fx trimmers a gold and silver color. And I can’t get either to hit right, so I guess I have to use them to bald out first over a period of time until they start hitting. Gotta love Andis styliner 2, corded GTX and slim liners. Just got the sabers too, they hit, but not the blade is not smooth.

The normal graphite blade(fx707B) is fine tooth and isn't the best for bulk, but it works great for lineups. The graphite 2.0 or DLC 2.0 are both 2.0mm deeptooth and work alot better for bulk.

Babyliss trimmer blades to me scrape the skin too much. My go to is the gtx exo and I can’t speak highly enough of them. Smooth blade against the skin, never any irritation, clean lines, and you can hear the crunch when it cuts hair. Could use a little more power but it’s still head and shoulders better than the babyliss trimmer in my opinion. And I have 3 different fx style trimmers and can’t get any of them to hit, and by hit I mean the entire blade cuts hair. The babyliss trimmers are some certified hair pushers to me
@desmondmitchell56022 жыл бұрын
the only people I hear say that about a babyliss trimmer is a person that can't set a blade
@maxcusumano51882 жыл бұрын
@@desmondmitchell5602 I wish that was the case. I’ve set both my gtx exo, slimline, Wahl detailer, and many trimmers previously but I have 0 luck with the babyliss. Tried the shallow tooth graphite, deep tooth graphite, deep tooth gold fx blade, and the only blade I have ever had cut the entire length of the blade is the original gold fx blade I got when they first came out and that still blade is ROUGH. I mean you can tap an extremely sharp line in but you drag it across the skin isn’t comfortable and that’s saying it nicely lol
