BLUR Guard...The Metal Version

It's a must for bulk on waves or any cut with a 1.5 or less. I don't use guards at all. I use one Clipper with the andis phat blade (but I have the blur blade on pre-order) & one with a fade blade & no guards. It's a beautiful thing! The more you use it, the more you realize its value.

Personally id rather just use my detachable to get rid of all the bulk. I may use 1 or 2 blades tops to setup the hair for a fade. After that i just use a adjustable and 1 other guard either a 1 guard or a 0 guard and im done. I use to have the wireless master with the phat master blade and i found although it was dope.. when i would just use my detachable I would get the bulk down quicker and get the work done faster

@Mike-hy8cs I can respect that & for sure the detachable will mow through the hair quicker. Took me a good while to get used to the Phat blade. I guess I should have started with, I mostly use the phat blade on African hair especially waves but I used it on the rebels which because they were light yet still powerful, I became pretty efficient with phat blade. That way I'm not switching between different detachable blades or plastic guards. Plus it was fun challenging myself doing a cut with no guards which also helped me to become quicker at my wave cuts.

@miggyslice Yeah its definitely a option i know 2 people that do the same. I just feel the phat master is at its best when the hair is already short or cut down first.

Basically, it's a wahl version of the Phat Master blade. I ordered one since I can't find a phat master blade anywhere and if there is someone on ebay it is $50.

This is superior to the Phat Master blade in my opinion 1) the sound of the blade cutting the hair is louder 2) this blade can actually be zero gapped I would say use both in tandem as the Phat master opens up longer for more range
