Time slowing down because she did a perfect dodge is a great detail. This is one of the best cutscenes in the game yet. It tones down the looney toons bounciness of the character models which fits great for more serious, cool action scenes like this imo.

After playing the quest, I often wonder what would happen if the hacker sent Miyabi's clone to eliminate three Bangboos instead of defending Yanagi's attack. Surely his fixation on killing all members of Section 6 led to his failure to kill any of them.

It honestly kinda bothered me that null_face was pretty mid as a villain, though I suppose that's why it (as in the collective group) got thrashed so hard by HSO6 in the first place (the truly nasty ones are so well concealed that very few people even know they exist). As was pretty much explained throughout the narrative, the guy was letting too much slip, making bad decisions out of the few that he could make, and prioritizing a high-risk complete victory over an easier partial one (at least in my perspective, I'd consider it a win if I'd managed to kill off any one member while ignoring the rest and pulling out early) But then again, if I had a perfect combat copy of the world's strongest currently-living void hunter, I might think myself to be invincible and opt for the attrition approach as well. It's easy to forget but the situation was actually pretty bad (Yanagi lost safe-mode protection so in time she'd also get bangboo-ified), so it makes sense that the guy got cocky (definitely didn't earn any respect that way though).

Yanagi is an absolute badass. Honestly, this cutscene makes me think if she's secretly stronger than Miyabi but decides not to show it. Preferring a more mature, diplomatic and nurturing role in Section 6. Her naginata has clearly time-manipulation characteristics. The digital Miyabi has retained all physical capabilities (or better, to be fair, all that she's shown in the digital space) of the real Miyabi and, Yanagi clearly bested her.

​@@Photonical i think the glasses got wrecked simply because of gravity. She moved so fast that her glasses just flew off and got caught up by the blade. Actually, she moved so fast that everything stood still from her perspective. I doubt a sprained wrist can make up in leg speed. I mean, to be fair, Miyabi's yet to come so we're probably gonna see some Void Hunter real action. However, as of now, just by looking, Yanagi seems superior in terms of speed.

I love Yanagi but Miyabi is clearly the stronger one not just because she is a Voidhunter and the current Swordmaster of the Hoshimi family but didn't Yanagi already said that the Doppelganger was nothing like the real Miyabi? Which doesn't mean that Yanagi ain't super strong i doubt that many people in New Eridu could have actually dodged that slash! She is badass thats for sure
