I'm part of an interfaith family, ( half Greek Orthodox Christian and half reform Jewish ), and hearing that little part at the end about the boys wanting to educate themselves on Hanukkah and just even mentioning it in the first place actually made me cry. I love them so much. Also, has anyone noticed the fact that Matt can actually like, sing? Like I feel like he could have a legit talent there if he explores it.

Matt having a fear of the tooth fairy not coming for his siblings because of him is something I also dealt with. I would get a horrible stomach ache every Christmas Eve because i couldn’t sleep and would work myself up that I was ruining Christmas for everyone else because I couldn’t fall asleep. Turn out that was an anxiety symptom and we found out when I was finally diagnosed how many clues there were in my childhood we just didn’t know were linked to anxiety.

I know there’s multiple Spongebob Christmas songs, but the one that stood out to me is “Santa’s coming tonight, tonight.” Its a remix of another Christmas song i cant remember, but it’s crazy because Nick had just said that “We all used to jump around, and chant ‘Santa’s coming tonight’.” I immediately thought about SpongeBob because I watched the Christmas special with my little brother yesterday. Then after Nick said that, Matt asked about the Spongebob Christmas album. I audibly gasped, 😭. All of this tying together blew my mind. Anyways, thanks for coming to my TED talk.
