It's nice to see an appreciation for what happens in the felling process when it comes to tension buildup between the cuts

Good job! Yes, now there's firewood to help through the winters and no more shade for the garden. Thanks for sharing.

It's definitely a nerve racking process cutting down a tree or watching it be cut down. It's definitely something to respect. There are so many ways that tree can take you out. Glad that came down for you where you wanted it.

Of course you are afraid when he is cutting down a tree! When he is cutting down a tree it is the same as a tornado or hurricane...they are activities that are out of our control & anything can happen! You are just like every other woman wold be that loves her husband , afraid for him! Trees are not called "widow makers" for nothing! When the wind is flowing I don't go under one of the big trees in my yard! I was out in my yard (on a calm day) & CRASH..a huge limb (limb only) broke off & fell from one of the big trees in my yard! I could hardly believe it! It has been a couple years since that happened & I still go back and look at the tree (from a distance) & think....WOW!!!! I watch in awe when your husband is cutting down a tree!!! Bless you & your family Allegra Rose...love you all Hunni...Judie

Yes, trees can be very dangerous. I’m always looking up when I’m out in the woods, and we are as careful as we can be when taking these trees down.

@@allegrarosebrown238 I know you are careful! I have seen him fell a tree before! Sorry for my misspelled words! hugs

He should really learn how to properly fell trees using correct face cut and back cut it should only take three cuts to fall a tree he is playing a very risky game. Please be safe.

Please watch the BC faller training standard playlist, it is a very good instructional to learn the basics. Also Terry Hale has good videos on learning to cut trees.

Glad you put the chain to stop the barber chair. You only need three proper cuts to fell that tree. You're VERY lucky that tree didn't roll as it went down. (It looked like it may have rolled a little bit) Please don't roll the dice again like you did.

He does not know what he is doing. I have felled many alder trees and it only takes 3 cuts to cut one down. I used a a wedge to guide the tree and to not pinch the chain saw blade. The guy did not make a proper undercut and it was a sloppy job of felling a tree.

Where's the habitat of alder wood ? I really want to know, because I'm from Asia. There's no live alder tree
@allegrarosebrown2383 жыл бұрын
These alders are in the Pacific Northwest, Washington State, USA
