carpenters call your marking gauge - a story pole - it has heights of windows, doors, cabinets, plumbing, electrical outlets and switches - wainscot - etc. you could also use a combination square. you are amazing puddin - glad you're a happy guy - comes thru on the videos. google's wishy washy on metric conversion dates - all of em say mid 1970s was the start.

I am a new viewer, came here after he did that ViceGrip Garage between the aisles interview with Derek. Pretty neat channel, at first i was just thinking this guy acts a little silly as he tinkers with old cool cars. After actually watching him, this guy does pretty solid work! I know you long time viewers already know that but as a new viewer, he is doing some serious fab work that ends up awesome and seems to be having fun doing it his own way!!

Should build you some removable attachments for the front of the Towrolla (hitch ball, forks, etc.). Driving the trailer forwards around the property would be so much easier and precise than trying to back it in.

Im a 55+ yr old man and I prefer long beds and vehicles that are not lowered they dont do a thing for me however your skills are amazing and I appreciate the work and effort ya put into these builds and their back up and running so thats a win and the short bed conversion looks nice I would just be happy to have it they way it was .
