@@_Vinyl-zs8fe I finally tracked down Rob Johnstone and while he didn't remember the model number of the table, he said it was a Rockler. Googling that shows a few models including a couple with the adjustable table. They're not cheap, but look well made.

Done this when the dust/pitch accumulated inside the hole/slot and when turning the router off and sliding the bit back across to the exit hole.... it can’t align to pull out due to the compacted dust; sticking the bit tight to the table. Any advice on clearing this?

I think you need to keep router on while backing it out until you get close to your exit.

He says the length of the slot isn't important as long as it goes through the center. When you slide the picture on you move the frame along the wall till the screw head is centered in the board and it just hangs there

Slide the plaque over the screw until it falls into the big hole, then slide it horizontally until the plaque balances evenly. Gravity holds it, same as a large painting on a single long wire. If there is a lot of vibration on the wall it is going to walk a bit and hang crooked, so maybe don't use this method for hanging stuff in your shop.

OK, thanks. I always thought the plaque hung from the bottom of the slot (i.e. the opposite end from the hole), but I see how Rob's method could be useful.

At first I was a bit confused at how this worked. while you could put the slot vertically, you would have to get it perfectly centered so the picture is parallel to the floor. putting the slot horizontally ensure that you can put the slot anywhere (as long as one point is going thought the center line of the frame) and the picture will hang properly.
