Personally, i like that you are Frankenstitching parts from the other car into this car. Reusing rather than just creating from new. Kinda like killing a deer. If you don't use up what you harvested, then it's just a waste. That & you can say, yup, it's all made from 35 parts & pieces. Modern has its place , yet reuing so much of the 2 to make one, is more impressive. Ty for taking us along

I'm 76 years old and disabled. I can no longer work in the shop, so I live it, by fellows like you, that do what is still in my "want to", but not in my "can do". I like where you are headed with this build. There is still a massive amount of work to be done. When I was 5 or 6 years old my dad had a 35 Dodge sedan, similar to the one you cut the roof section from.

I don't know if it was Michaelangelo himself, or some sculptor that came later that said, "To make a David or a Venus, you get a piece of marble, and chisel out everything that doesn't look like David". I was on the fence about shortening the rear section but seeing it after cutting I have to say it works just fine. Going to have that coupe vibe. Winning! Thank you for sharing the process/progress. With the shortened wheel base I could see it with tires in the tubs or big fatties without tubs. Either way, winning!

Hello back in 1974 I was painting cars it's time I took out a body shop we fix things with lead and if you want to shrink the metal you heat up red-hot give her a little smack and take a wet rag and start from the outside and work your way in in a circular motion accurate gets rid of oil cans and it shrinks the metal I'm 63 now no clue how to lead well I know how to do it but yeah it's a long time ago never done it since Auto Body School enjoy your videos thank you I learned a lot

That panel at the rear, Scott from Cold War Motors was working on a similar panel on a Rover, recently. In a video called " Well, That Escalated Quickly..." first he tries to repair it, but 15 minutes into the video he decides to make new one. You might want to have look how he hammers it out.

I am always impressed with the creativity, resourcefulness and skill that you show in all your projects.
