Though the liquid blushes does spoil faster than powder blush, if it is coming out of a squeeze tube you don’t have to worry about bacteria as much. A lot of bacteria comes from touching the products. You don’t touch what is in the squeeze tube so that product should be fine as long as the texture is still fine.
@slashedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking as well, just like skin care products tube versus jar. However if the texture has changed/separated that's definitely a sign.

What ingredient in powder bushes go bad though? No one has ever been able to tell me. Bacteria typically doesn’t thrive in powder environments, so I’m pretty sure you can keep powder products for a really long time. Cream or liquid products are a different story though.
@slashedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
While I don’t know a straightforward answer to this in terms of ingredients, unless you were keeping your brushes extremely clean after every use there’s always a chance of transferring your own oils and bacteria into the product. But with more powder blushes also containing butters and oils (ie murumuru butter etc) I can see shelf lives varying between each powder product.
@charlotte72682 жыл бұрын
@@slashedbeauty Oils, yes, they can cause a film to develop over powder products. But you can scrape over or clean off the top layer to get around the oil issue and continue using the product. Other than that, powder products are fine. Actually, you can look it up, the whole idea of having to throw out your powder products after the expiration date is a myth. Unless the powder is visibly spoiled or smells funny, you’re fine to use it for years. Bacteria doesn’t like powder products.
@charlotte72682 жыл бұрын
@@slashedbeauty The ones to be more concerned with are creams and liquids, the oils in them can go bad. I honestly have eye shadow palettes and blushes from 5+ years ago and I periodically check on them, but have had very few issues.
@charlotte72682 жыл бұрын
@@slashedbeauty I honestly think that they give powder products a shelf life either 1. Cause they have to or 2. So that people will replace it and buy more…. Could be both though.

Does the flower beauty melon blush transfers? Like if I apply on cheeks and someone pull my cheeks then will it go away? 😢 Or its sets quite on skin with dewy finish? ❤️

I find that most dewy finish products don't set all the way down, that's what keeps them dewy. It lasts a good while but if someone pulls on your cheeks it might move... don't let them do that lol

You are the only other person that I’ve ever seen use the Weylie Hoang pallete from physicians formula I’m surprised you didn’t mention that one? I exclusively use that one at home because it’s too big to travel with but in my travel makeup bag I have the Milani rose de Oro. I’ve probably owned it six years now, still going strong 😜 and impossible to overdo that. It truly gives your skin that pick-me-up anytime, anywhere 💖.

Ma’am the undone beauty isn’t three different shades, its three different intensities of the same color. That’s first off. Secondly the cover fx blush isn’t a blush and highlight, it’s actually a matte blush and a shimmery blush/blush topper. As for lip and cheek duos they are marketed that way bc cream blushes are the exact same as lip products. The undone beauty blush stick wont work with a full face of cakey makeup. It is meant to be a natural makeup look. I don’t mean the natural makeup looks that ppl are trying to pass off as natural, but truly natural. Using it with something like glossier or the undone skin tint will give you the result it was intended to give. Pro tip that many ppl that aren’t educated on is that we use multi tasking products to give a more monochromatic natural beauty look. If you are the type to cake on a full face then you can’t really appreciate multi taskers or lip and cheek duos. Lastly I wouldn’t say this was ruthless but i guess we are using a different dictionary.
@slashedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
Ah yes, you’re right! It’s been a while since I used the undone compact (clearly). I still feel like a lot of lip and cheek dual products don’t work well on the lips. The finish is almost always off. My problem isn’t that it’s “natural” but that it ends up looking powdery or filmy on the lips. I actually quite enjoy a fresh face, and monochromatic looks. I just wish that so many “dual” formulas didn’t end up drying down weird on the lips
@kellya82672 жыл бұрын
@@slashedbeauty I agree that muti use formulas rarely perform well on more than one feature. Lip and cheek ones only look good on either lip, or cheeks. I have not found a product that looks/feels great on both. Can you make it work that way? Yeah, sure, it works! But I don't want something that just works bc the company puts it on the label. Just bc it can be done that way, doesn't mean it's great for that. Not everything works the same for everyone either, that's for sure :)
@slashedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
@@kellya8267 Exactly. And once they start going into lip/cheek/eye... I mean the finish cannot serve all 3, period.
