"So far so good"! Such a great attitude to having something done that is a little scary. Having my big toe and 3 metatarsals fused with 3 plates and 12 screws I can relate. Sadly my body rejected the titanium and I had to have all the metal removed. Then I developed Guillain Barre Syndrome and have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and hands. I wish,the lady well and apprears to be getting terrific care. Love your glasses. I wish you and your staff well.😊

It’s RARE to EVER find a compassionate and caring doctor these days let alone one who rather than embarrass the patients’ regardless of the circumstances that brought them together, he does best to educate and support. A valuable and rare quality. Years ago, I ended up accidentally dropping a very heavy 1200 watt microwave onto my right foot and right big toe. Whilst thankfully I didn’t sustain any serious injuries requiring medical attention, I did however end up combating a thick toenail that frequently has been attacked by fungus. The podiatrist id seen was rude with horrible bedside manner by saying it’s my fault because I didn’t care for my feet.

It makes me sad to see that has been your experience so far! I’m a healthcare provider, and have never treated my patients with anything but respect and compassion. Like in all professions, there are the back eggs.’ I’ve been the patient of and worked with a few providers who’s bedside manner is less than ideal, but they are rare with the majority treating their patients the way I do. I hope your future experiences are more positive ones!

I have one of these under each joint in my pad. I think it's because of a loss of fatpad that you mentioned once. I have to trim them with a callous shaver regularly, and it can hurt quite a bit walking on it afterward even if no damage was done to the tissue. Like walking on stones with them, but like walking on bruised feet when they are gone/lessened. 😟

I have one foot that has bad cracks and fishcers on it. Especially heel. I soak in soap and oil and get very soft and shave it with a double edge razor. 😁
