Best way to get the permaseal out is a flat head screw driver and a razor blade and just scrap away. Heating them back up will help some, make sure you get all of it out or you will have leaks!

Warranty Voided....lol. did you happen to check the lights before you took them apart to make sure they worked? Just spent the last 2 weeks and a dozen emails back and forth to TRS on my new Morimoto XB headlights. I had issues with the passenger side from day one, and after a new laptop, and forscan, and research, that non proved to work in my case, turns out the headlight was bad.... just mentioning incase you happen to get a faulty light before you tear it down incase it needs replaced

Hey dude I just wanna say props for your videos. Love watching them. You must be so busy. Not sure if this is what you do full time as a job or if you also work. I’m not even into big trucks like the ones you have but I love cars. I do have a Tacoma that I work on and am in the process of fixing up. Nothing major but I do get inspiration from your channel so we will see what happens. I may even try to tint my windows and maybe one day powder coat stuff. I have two old Vdubs that I also wanna fix as well so I could totally powder coat so many parts. Believe me my 04 Yukon’s aftermarket headlights have the same amber on the side and the rest of it is blacked out but they legally have to be like that it’s a DOT requirement

You can add more metallic by mixing some “clear sparkle” in with the “clear vision” looks goon on the illusion purple, illusion green, and illusion blueberry (they’re the only ones I’ve personally tried, can always try it on a test piece or tumbler)

Check out flyride he did light builds for a living.one of his videos he said never use screw drivers or anything along that line.and says you dont have to worry about getting the old retro rubber butyl just put new on and it will all reseal when u heat it in the oven.

I painted the factory headlights on my f150 and had trouble getting the factory sealent off so I said f**k it and just warmed up the old sealent and put some fresh silicone around the lens before I put it all back together. been almost 4 months with no leaking or foging up
