What a gorgeous color. One second I see brown, but it's really purple. Then I see maroon, then it turns purple, then back to brown. < head spin > I've never seen a door done so quickly without loosing an ounce of your one of a kind craftsmanship. My mind's blown, Christian. In a previous video you asked, " Am I a Pro ? I don't know. I'm just a guy that wraps cars. " Let help you out please......YOU'RE A TOTAL PRO ! Watching you can simply be spellbinding.

After watching many vinyl wrap channels I have decided to subscribe to only one. This happens to be it. Keep up the good work mate and forget about those soulless haters.

Your awesome! Love the channel. Keep it up. Also it's nice to here your thoughts on specific tools because I was just asking myself..I wonder if he likes that squeegee..or the green one or the blue ones you use to use.

just an idea: maybe you could install some small ball bearings onto the wrap stand so you dont have to drag it on the floor, might make it a little easier to roll out!

GoPro has shaking and not very good quality. Look at the channel The Wrapper, he has videos shot on GoPro. But my personal opinion, the video of CK Wraps is better.

Need to put low profile swivel castor wheels on your stand, it makes it so much easier to move the film when measuring & laying on a vehicle. Just an FYI that I do & makes things little easier. Like the dark blu/purple colour it shifts, flows, to. How thick is this film & do you find working with vvivid+ that it feels thick & doesn't stretch/flow as well as Avery? or is it just me thinking this?

Quick Question. If you have a small piece of vinyl that keeps lifting, is there a product to used to make it stick better? I have tried applying heat to reactivate the adhesive side of the vinyl, but to no avail, it just lifts up again after sitting in our Texas heat. Any suggestions? Thank you

Is it best to remove the backing paper completely or can you keep the paper on and remove as you move forward??

Would you do the same thing with a colored vehicle? White, red, green, etc

My only question or suggestion is wouldn’t it be better to cut after you’ve already stuck the whole film .??

What kind of wrap film you use? I tried wrapping a hood once but my film wouldn't come off with that much ease and be able to reposition it as easy as you did in the video.

From watching your videos it seems that gloss films are easier to work with compared to matte, is this true? I have only worked with matte films.
@GurdeepxSingh6 жыл бұрын
I find matte/satin films easier to install.

I am sure you found out, but the Avery description says it is a directional film. Which makes me wonder: If you'd wrap a 6th gen Mustang with it, how would you do the hood? It is wider than 60 inch in each direction and the 'trick' I have seen in one of your other videos, would make direction be 90 degrees turned with respect to how you installed these side panels.
@CKWraps6 жыл бұрын
The hood will always run a different direction. It isn't possible for it to match up with the bumper and fenders at the same time

Why did you take the gray wrapper off the door? I thought you were going to continue wrapping the car with the gray wrapper. Great and informative video! My bad, it was the Challenger that had the gray wrapper!

Roman Luna-Goddard $475 to wrap all chrome trim in 3m gloss black 1080 on a Jeep GC 2018 limited NOT including mirrors ,handles, or badges . Thats a high price right ?
@TorqueMediaau6 жыл бұрын
not necessarily. wrapping chrome trim is a lot more intricate and takes a lot more time than wrapping larger body panels.

What’s the difference between directional and non directional ? Is this film non directional?
@AndreyBender6 жыл бұрын
Directional films have an invoice (carpal metal) or have a color change at a certain angle (chameleon). If you will wrap a car without respecting the direction, there will be no beautiful finish

Could you do a video of a truck, like an f-150. I am specifically interested in how you do the space between the bed and cab? If you already went over this, a link would be awesome, cause I can't seem to find it. Thanks

Have you ever wrapped the hood of an Chevy HHR, having difficulty with the front corners, where the curve of the top portion of the hood meets the front curve next to the grill. This hood has some extreme curves. I'm also using Vvivid 4d carbon fibre, and the film is a lot thicker and difficult to stretch. Could use some advise. Thanks
