Wow. Fantastic bit of work here sir. I've never wrapped a car but was curious about it and your content almost makes me want to give it a shot on my unpainted front bumper. The girlfriend and her friends wrap cars, but was underwhelmed with the job they did on her car (they're opposed to inlays if possible). I don't care as much about lines from inlays and I don't think the '91 MR2 I picked up last night is practical to do otherwise. Thanks for the content. It's very educational and you're not trying to be some super hype KZbin kiddie. It's refreshing to see a professional. Time to go down the rabbit hole of your content. Haha

Christian, watching your videos has inspired me to start doing wraps. I’ve done my first 2 cars, my C7 and my neighbors Camaro. My next 2 projects will be an AMG GLC43 in Vivid Satin Purple and and C7 Z06 in Miami Teal or Satin Green. Keep up the good work and I’ll share my pics if you want to see my early work.

Hey Christian, i seen the boys over at Yiannimize one piece the Urus bumper in chrome. Just curious what you think about it and if wrapping on your own can limit what you can do with certain materials or cars, such as this one. Great work as always and thanks for the information you put out for everyone.
@CKWraps6 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure they used an inlay in a very similar way, especially with Hexis chrome. If they didn't I'd like to see it up close. It's also different when the owner of the vehicle owns the shop. Limits can be pushed without worrying about a customers car having failures. I always push the limits on my own car because I know I can go back and fix it since I have it with me everyday

@mlg69926 жыл бұрын
Don't wrap over exposed bondo. Hit any repair with filler paint primer first, sand it smooth, let it fully dry, and you should be fine without the use of adhesion primer.
