That’s pretty cool. I never knew soapstone was so soft. And it looks pretty cool from what I could see. If I ever come across any I’ll sure keep this in mind

It’s pretty fun to play with, I got a couple little pieces of that graves Mountain stuff boxed up, it’s like 95% bubble wrap, I hope they make it there in good shape, I should get it sent out soon

That’s Awesome Jesse, it’s cool how malleable it is, I found a big piece of a steatite soapstone bowl a few days ago, I thought it was steatite when I found it because people were telling me my drilled piece was steatite and it looked like the same material so I assumed it was, it wasn’t till I did some googling I realized steatite is soapstone, when I got home and cleaned it up I was scratching it with nails and was basically able to make etchings with my nails and I realized how soft it is, I just uploaded the video last night so it was really cool to see you upload this today, I need to start collecting any pieces I find and try to make pendants and stuff from it, Pretty Cool Buddy, Thanks For Sharing, GL&HH!!!

Man I could send you some of that South Carolina stuff, I found a spot about an hour from my place where I can grab pretty good chunks, the hike out is a little rough though, I have to watch yours still but yeah, they carved those bowls while it was in the boulders, it’s neat to see how they did it
