a question on stopping solder flowing if I may.... I make rings/ braceletts by weaving fine wire, the fact it is so fine I make backings/ inserts to give strength and a bit of weight. The patterns are specific and very fine yet when adding the inserts solder is flowing up through the weave. I did try a rouge mix someone mentioned before but it really didnt work. Can you or any here advise if there is something out there I can block solder from flowing with but sutable to completely cover the piece then clean inner surface after application to then solder. It is critical no solder flows through the weave but only solders the contacting surfaces...... it is a particular problem using copper or brass as it really destroyes the whole piece..... please help lol
