@shoeme69 Since when do laps in the middle of a race get deleted? From the WSB official site, fastest lap of Race 2 was on lap 4 (by Biaggi), 1.43.023. Crossing white line lap 12 = 1.43.749. So thats 7 tenths down on his best lap. So you are, in fact, wrong, chum. Biaggi should have got a penalty for sure but a ride-through was too harsh I feel considering the mess at turn one caused by Checa went unpunished

I was pretty upset that day like most of us but after it was explained, its tough luck for Biaggi, had he followed the rules, he'd most likely have won the race.

he broke the rules so therefore the ride through was the correct decision .. i recommend you see the other videos and read the letter from Paolo Ciabatti

@shoeme69 He set the fastest lap but not on that lap. His fastest was a 1.43.0 while this lap was a 1.43.7. He slowed down enough but entered on the wrong side of a white line, thats why he got the penalty. Penalising a rider who breaks a silly little rule with a ride-through while not penalising a rider (Checa) who tries a dangerous move at turn 1, taking out 3 other riders (Rea, Haslam and Smrz) in the process and then continuing... FAIL

@zeppelin1927 deve rientrare in pista seguendo il percorso disegnato con la linea bianca !!! Biaggi invece non lo segue ma ci passa in mezzo, attraversando la via di fuga in maniera errata, secondo il regolamento di Monza.

what a shit track design... how can you have a 200+ straight and than a corner like that with the ability to cut the chicane... atleast put heavy gravel there... biaggi should have had that win
