Cutting the chicane at Monza

that chicane is so tight, because if your real wheel is not on right angle to the fron ton the entry, you won't make it. trust me, I've played SBK X online :P

@MrFerkyferky Have you read Paolo Ciabatti open letter? Biaggi didn't obey 1meter wide path showed by white lines in the exit of chicane. That's why he was punished. But yeah that drive-tru was cruel, and unnecessary, he got over 6sec advantege over next rider and didn't coz any danger.

It said on Eurosport that Max didn't attend the riders briefing before the race where all safety issues relating to the circuit were discussed and everything was explained regarding the rules at the chicane. If this true why didn't Max attend such an important riders briefing as all of the other riders were in attendance? I was amazed he actually came in for a ride through penalty for once. He is an amazingly talented rider but has an air of arrogance which is not endearing what a shame.

Does anyone really think he did it to cheat? Come on, in a race covered extensively by video cameras do you think he thought, "Yeah, I'll just sneak through and catch up with the pack." Everyone is entitled to an off-day.

Rules in a racetrack are not to punish any given rider or make things silly, rules in a very dangerous sport like motorcycle racing save lives and when everybody is given the opportunity to know the rules in advance then it is fair game for everybody. Sorry for a very talented rider like Biaggi, but stupidity has a cost.
