I feel like your gameplay is spy-like enough, I see people saying you play this like COD but you do utilize a lot of stealth and cunning and make use of your gadgets in order to get objectives and win fights. The people playing this like COD would be the three-man teams where someone shoots every NPCs on the level while the other two are just there to gun down any spy that is revealed, really don't see the appeal in that playstyle, 0 fun whatsoever

The big thing is what he says early in the video that he doesnt worry about being stealthy because he can still win fights without it. Thats how the game is right now but I do think its a problem. Stealth games usually have a MUCH lower TTK than Deceive has, specifically to make having the drop on someone a big deal. As it is Killing takes long enough that just getting the first hit usually isnt enough of an advantage to be worth being slow and methodical at high levels of play.

@@TurtleKnite I agree entirely. I play the game pretty methodically myself and it's really not the optimal way to play it, it needs some serious rebalancing. This game is often compared to The Ship and Assassin's Creed multiplayer, but I grew up with these games and they had punishment if you were too reckless. Deceive really doesn't.

@@Chiptune7 I think that’s part of the direction the devs were going for, as they said this game was an FPS first and the spy stuff was added later. However, I would love to see it expanded upon further in the game. It would add an even bigger layer of depth to this game that already has quite a bit. I think that over time the devs will embrace the stealth mechanics, but so far I think they’ve done an amazing job setting the grounds for this game and its future. It’s a good thing that players like you are giving this feedback, I myself have always been a fan of stealthy games, things like MGS and Splinter Cell. This game could absolutely become a staple and a classic if the devs listen to the community that has built around it and embrace their ideas. TLDR: I have high hopes for this game in the future

With the misery empire update they modified briefcase range to 100 meters you can't be seen outside 100 meters of the briefcase holder. If used this to my advantage allot recently

I feel so much better after you said you get your ass handed to you lmaooo. I find that solo is easier than trios bc teams just camp bodies 😢 but i think as a team ive only won twice (only been playing for 2 weeks)
