@Nuffsed bro you are a certified L, if he's having fun then who cares and in all honesty it's the other players fault for being bad/making mistakes. He makes use of his quick wit and game knowledge which allows him to play the way he does and technically speaking he's giving his opponents a heads up by acting the way he does.

@@Darumiru02 It just seems like a waste to be playing a deception game like COD. That's like playing a regular shooter using only your melee. If it works, that's honestly a problem, since it takes away from the experience most players will flock to, based on how the game is marketed.

As a passive player myself in these types of games i personally think that aggressive and rushing playstyle is pretty cool as long as player have to be cautious, utilize all his skills and map knowledge. Also its very entertaining to watch imo as its very risky and involves a ton of action happening on the screen. So dont listen to players complaining that youre playing wrong in their opinion - thats YOUR playstyle and as long as devs allowing variety and risky plays in their game i dont think that you or anybody else should restrain oneself. Have fun and your audience will have it too!

Exactly. It's got stealth mechanics but it's still a shooter game at its core and people who think action is bad are playing the wrong game. You should be able to effectively use stealth OR fighting to win

Actually, half of the time your teammates leave anyways because you either don't revive them within 1 minute, or because they didn't get the agent they wanted.

maybe madam would be useful to make them fight eachother, constantly harrasing and blowing covers just to retreat, other players will eventually get more agro near endgame and may fight eachother

When approaching or retreating you should hold the shield up. Everyone drops the umbrella but they also forget you can just hold it up if youre not planning on shooting.

Why do so many people use the Snub revolver instead of the basic one? I feel like the firerate isn't that much faster, but having to get an extra shot to kill matters a lot more when the clip and max ammo are the same.

Might be wrong, but reload speed may be quicker? So faster fire rate + quicker reload, with only a limited decrease to damage = much higher efficiency.

as someone that prefers the stealthy aspect of Decieve, while i find aggressive playstyles decently fun to watch, its thats play style thats starting to cause this game to devolve into a shitty FFA death match. the point of the game is to be stealthy and get the package, not camp terminals and the vault to get as many kills as possible. The game is slow decaying into this shitty bland generic FPS game where everyone tries to kill as many people as possible. Why not just go play COD or something if people are gonna play like that.

To be fair, at it's core, the game is meant to be tailored to the player. That's the whole reason some of the characters are built around aggressive playstyles, while others are built around stealth playstyles. Point of the game is to get the package by any means necessary, not JUST stealth. You play to your spies advantages, and punish players that are caught out.

@@DeBolttheBear Fair, and there should certainly be agents that are more equipped to be aggressive. However, when every agent bar Yumi (and MAYBE Ace) is best played in the deathmatch style, there's a problem.

@@mythmage8231 I agree, but that also goes back to the point where I said you need to punish those players that are playing that style with characters that can benefit from it. Most stealth characters have a get away mechanic. You can choose to stay and fight or flee. Squire speed boost, madames body swap, larsins invisibility, etc. I’m just saying there are ways to avoid being forced to play into that style.

Anyone can solo vs 3 botlikes who can't aim for shit. This is no different than a NBA pro dunking on 12 year olds in a parking lot. Boast about any apparent skill versing actual players like the ones currently in the game. You'll barely win 1v1s much less anything beyond that.
