Cutting up a perfectly good Datsun 510

On my '72 Datsun 510, I used the BRE fiberglass flares and molded the fiberglass to achieve a much cleaner look. But I also had to blend the primer and yellow paint into the car. Not easy.

after high school mid 90's one of my roommates had a 510 same color orange, he had built pretty sweet, fast as hell i was never a fan until i rode in his. fun as hell 510's 240's 280's

I was sad to see the original body go . but once everything was installed and you rolled out with those Badmaan wheels/ tires . IWas like ... Aight aight ... I get ya . that's how you wanna roll . that dat Looks gangster to me .

killah kay lots of people said the same thing... haha. But I’ve been wanting to change the look for years. So I said screw it... it’s my car and let’s cut it up! 😂

I'm not a fan of stretched tires or bubble flares, but this still looks good. I'm hoping to get a more square and subtle flare to fit at least a 225 width tire under my car.

Those are perfect flares. I have the same spec wheels for my 510. 15x11j -36 R 15x10j -? F. It's on bre flares now.

I would have went with VW rabbit metal flares and had them grafted on it would have made it look almost stock. I have them on my 72 521.
