How much did this whole engine build cost you on a rough estimate. You saved a lot of money doing all the machine cleaning work yourself. I’m looking into picking up a junkyard 2jzge vvti and doing this exact setup.

I use an electric fan working with a thermo sensor. It is quieter.

Ball hones are Easy... But NOT good either. Chem strip is basically Laquer thinners.

Do you have a video where you take off the dashboard? The windshield wipers got disconnected after painting the van. So I decided to replace the nozzles, motor and dashboard while I’m at it. Maybe I can do more updates under the dashboard while I am at it…🤷🏻‍♂️

First off u have to clock the turbo so oil drain is down and if u run that harmonic balancer u will rod knock that motor by first oil change...trust me I like car and build but that what your doing wrong

Not being a hater but these vids telling guys to do this makes me cringe. Doing more harm than good here. After a valve job its simply checked by hand...so one can hear when the compound is no longer abrasive .Most machinist will do this before they hand them back Seats and valves have multi cuts, so sinking the valve unseats them esp when things get warm. Next time save and get a V.J blend the bowls in best bang for the buck. I know amazon sells tools to do what you are but that doesnt mean youre supposede to . Digging the old 510s guys would mod the hell out of those and race em when I was a kid
