You are beaming with joy and pride...if it wasn't for you ears, your smile would have gone right around your head... That was one hell of a neatly done job... Well done, Joe 👌🏻🇿🇦

Damn ears getting in the way haha. But no I'm in a good place again and excited to work on the Rovers. I was a little burnt after the past year even though it was generally good and enjoyable, it was just a lot.

Fantastic to see you back on the old Defender, awesome job on the Bulkhead removal, especially the remodelling of the top capping which I’m going to copy on my 90, as I really think this just finishes the job off nicely. Looking forward to the next update, tell Sasha we are missing her. All the best. 😎👍

Yep, it is the small things that seem to make the big differences. I'm going to get Sasha out from in front of the fire for one of the videos soon haha.

Happy to be back to enjoying working in these things again. Mike does definitely seem to know what he is talking about in the stuff I have seen.

I'm loving that little touch with the filler panels. They just finish off that nice job perfectly! I really don't understand why those tubs were made with the bulkheads to begin with.

Keep the bales of hay or dirt out of the drivers area with the heavy hauling you would do with a D90 haha. But no, I’m sure it’s just a carryover feature from early ones, so much nicer like this with a non pick up cab one.
@nickboylen6873 Жыл бұрын
Defenders and their predecessors were built as working vehicles, with a body that could be converted between pickup, rag top, hard top and station wagon without replacing the tub.

Cool vid, curious why u opted for rivits for the wheel well reinforcement since u have a welder? Looks great, almost like an fj49 but without all the brown rust glitter I deal with! Uggh
@LostCauseRanch Жыл бұрын
The rest of the tub is riveted together. So keeping it all in check with the rest of it. Good serviceability I guess haha.

Who’s helping? It’s always ‘we’ or ‘we’re’ doing this etc.
@LostCauseRanch Жыл бұрын
It’s more of a “Royal we”. I guess it comes from the years of owning/operating the business. I’m a little more solo now day to day but it’s still I’ll have Ted and others that will come lend a hand whenever I need it.
