Yes Gina, it is beautiful! I can't believe the quality. I actually like it more than my Gucci Jackie top handle (same color as your Jackie Hobo)..I spoke with Cuyana and they will have the "clay" back in stock AGAIN shortly. I was wait listed on the black and received it last week. .luckily I had ordered the clay one first!..Grab one while you can..EVERYONE asks me about it. Looking forward to hearing that you got one..:)

Gina - Going back to your older video here. Do the little straps woven through the side expand? It looks like in your video that they might be adjustable like the strap is?

The bag is gorgeous and considering purchasing it. Im just wondering about its weight when empty. Weight is really an issue to me because you cant really put much inside an already heavy bag. Thanks!

It's a little heavy but I don't mind it. It weighs about 7 pounds when fully full.

I bought the work satchel...love it but wish they had done something that didn't so boldly rip off a hermes Birkin. I bought the tassles and it really is the best bag I've ever owned at $395 - a total steal. I might get the travel wallet next

It is SO Birkin-esque. I even knot Twilly on it. It's great for work, I can fit everything I need in it.

Thank you for the review. Cuyana is a great company. I personally own 2 of their pieces (the Classic lethargic tote and the small carry tote). I absolutely love the bags. I have purchased Fossil and Coach bags before and the weight of the leather is a huge turn off to me. The 2 pieces that I own are light weight, simple yet beautiful. Please do a follow up on the the work satchel and include the weight of the bag with a laptop in it. I would have to purchase the bag and hate to return it based on that. Again - thank you so much for the review.

I discovered Cuyana about a year ago and love my black messenger style leather bag. their silk is amazing, especially their white silk tee that is 3 ply so not at all see through. I also bought their Panama hat and it is exquisite. My only return with them has been the navy wool tie belt coat...the fit in the shoulders was really off and I did not like their wool. Other than that fantastic purchases, could buy most of their line.

Hi Gina, thank you for posting this review as there are surprisingly few reviews of this bag out there! I have two questions: 1. is the bag heavy? The Cuyana website specs it at 3 lbs, which seems heavy for a handbag (and that's before I load it with all my stuff)! Do you find it any heavier than the average leather handbag? 2. It seems the bag is lacking an interior cell phone or zip pocket - is that right? Perhaps it's not an issue with all of the other pockets available. Thank you again!

Hi, I don't really fee as though it's that heavy. Granted, I am used to stuffing a lot of stuff in there, so it's not an issue with me. I feel that it holds a lot with the small side pocket in one interior compartment and the full-length side pocket in the other compartment. The front pocket is the biggest asset, IMO. I slip my cell phone and keys in there and never have to scrounge around for them, which I have to do with most of my other bags (including my Gucci Tian Tote & Jackie Hobo).

Since your review Cuyana has performed a 100 Dollar price INCREASE on the bag, which is really sad :( now it's less of a bargain... Might consider a Longchamp for that price instead...

WOW! I did not realize that. I feel like it's a great deal for the price I paid. I also adore Longchamp bags. They are a great value. I have one that I {permanently} borrowed from my mom. It's a green saddle bag from the 80's that is fabulous. I need to review it.

HI, it's a fantastic bag! I have the laptop sleeve (which was my first Cuyana order) monogrammed. I didn't want to get this bag monogrammed and am glad I didn't. The smooth leather is gorgeous. I think the monogramming looks better on pebbled letter...just personal preference. :)
