Cuz I can totally relate to what you said, I started hunting in 1968. I shot my first turkey in the fall of 69 in the George Washington National Forest; she was a big hen, I was so proud. I'll be 68 this fall and I shot my gobbler on April 23rd this spring. I've told my friends for years that I would rather shoot a gobbler than a 12 point buck, most of them look at me like I'm crazy. Back surgery, artificial knee, and arthritis won't stop me, people say I'm obsessed. Killing a five bearded gobbler back in 2005 with my bow earned me the name The Turkinator.

#mossyoak thanks for sharing this with us cuz is a special person, just listening to this man speak hits deep. His hunt with young brings a tear to my eyes.
