Yo, speaking of that Skullshatterer guy. Do you think that's actually where he got his gear from? I don't think Reunion would manufacture something like that. Some makeshift crossbows, maybe. But all of the advanced gear they probably scavanged, bought or got supplied from somebody. Chapter 2 lore real? It's crazy how we get a random piece of lore sprinkled in such a random place.

Reunion's a bunch of vagrants in the wilderness, their production capacity is somewhere around zero. Just keeping the kit the ex-military ones came with working ought to be challenge enough. Captured gear is a thing, as are black markets - and as those who've done the story far enough know their leader has _connections_ in curious places that could no doubt arrange something on the down low.

Feel like my explanation was half assed so I'll elabatorate here (don't take it as a literal explanation of how the code works) Every other ATK Debuff from operators is multiplicative That means it multiplies the atk by some number for example 50% ATK reduction is 100 ATK * 0.5 = 50 ATK If you have two 50% ATK reductions it would be 100 ATK * 0.5 * 0.5 = 25 ATK Mousse doesn't work like this, instead she basically applies an ATK buff with a negative value and seperate ATK buffs stack additively, not multiplicatively. This is usally worse because it's weaker against enemies who have ATK buffs like harpoons and Avengers. Here it is much stronger because the Heat Vents also apply a negative ATK buff -70% ATK from the heat vent + (-40%) ATK from Mousse S1 = -100% ATK (the extra 10% doesn't do anything) Thus while debuffed by both the boss does literally 0 Damage YMMV on whether you consider this a bug or not.

not so much as a bug, more like an oversight from development since i assume they thought shed do too much if it worked differently, since if i understand correctly, mousse's debuff is like taking a flat amount off a number than a percentage of it. edit. this comment's assumption about mousse's debuff is wrong.

Mousse Debuffs by a % She just applies it as an ATK Buff (or something equvalent) So if an enemy has 100 ATK and you debuff it with 50% Additive atk reduction : 100 * 0.5 = 50 ATK (Disclaimer math is just for explaining, it is in no way what actually happens in code) If you had 50% multiplicative ATK reduction you get the same result Where the diffrence happens is when other buffs gets involved if enemy has 100 ATK and have their own 50% ATK buff (like avengers) so 150 ATK Additive Debuff would work like this 100 ATK * (1.5 - 0.5) = 100 * 1 = 100 ATK Multiplicative Debuff would work like this instead 100 ATK * 1.5 * 0.5 = 150 * 0.5 = 75 ATK In the CV-8 case we have two Additive debuffs 40% (from Mousse) + 70% (From Vents) so it ends up looking like this 100ATK * 0 = 0

So normally it's "percentage debuff", but Mousse and vents have "flat debuff". I'm not actually sure but I think that's what the terms for it normally are in gaming.

I think the vents are a buff because they don't just reduce ATK and do damage, they also charge enemies. It's probably all one buff, charging, -ATK% and damage, and if an enemy doesn't have charges (like Cliff) they just don't do anything. Why Mousse's debuff is a buff though, I have nothing to speculate on.

@anastil He only does that in the second phase. His skill marks an operator and the 4 adjacent to them (if there are any) and stuns them, but he will only attack the one in the center, if the one in the center dies during the skill or you retreat it he does the teleport, if you retreat an adjacent operator different that the one in the center, he doesn't. But Silvergun explanation is better

You say Mousse S1 is additive? all this damn time 💀 Too funny honestly, this is probably the only game ever where additive stat reduction debuff is a thing, usually devs only make those multiplicative because they don't want players doing shit like this 🤯🤯 At least for me, all the games I've ever played never had any chars with additive stat reduction truly an Arknights moment thanks for sharing this 🥹
