Tom nailed it! It was always very confusing to me when Christians talk and act like there's no heaven. Talking like this world is all there is. The hope in heaven and in Jesus christ is the most wonderful hope to have, that answers death and suffering with the perfect answer. And he will wipe our very last tear of pain away 🙂. Oh how awesome is our Lord. Heaven is real, even more real than this earth. Cling to the hope of heaven, what a comfort it is.

how exactly do you think heaven works? cos perfection means there is nothing left to be done, in heaven there is no point in existing cos you already know everything, no need to chat cos you know what everyone else will say. heaven isn't possible. sure you could _strive_ for a heaven, but then it wouldn't be made by god. anyway, wasn;t earth supposed to be paradise? why did god make a snake smarter than his first lady? why didn't this almight god put a fence around the tree?

@@cvs-podcast so you say, personally i think satan would make a better CEO of the universe than a god who is happy to see you burn. i don't see why hell would be a bad place to go. i'm no satanist but if satan rejected god and i reject god, why would he be interested in tormenting me? satan would want to torment christians. i actually think god is the bad guy, he demands your soul and you know what happenes if you refuse, whereas satan trades your soul, and apparent;y you can turn him down, god has killed millions and usually just for having difference of opinion, satan killed five people and three of thise were because god bet him. but really we only have god's word that satan is bad, and all god has in his favour is a word count. i think hell is going to be disneyland (for the more prudish sinner) and the playboy mansion for perverts like myself.

Hi David. Can you comment on what is known as dualism?
@cvs-podcast
@cvs-podcast Жыл бұрын
One of the two most important meanings attributed to the word "dualism" is false, the other is true. The first sort of dualism claims that there is a equal and opposite evil principle which balances and opposes the principle of good (see e.g., Zoroastrianism, Gnosticism, Manichaeism). The second sort of dualism teaches, over against hard monism and idealism, that both matter and spirit exist in creation. This second sort is compatible with (and essential to) Christianity. There are other definitions of dualism in philosophy, but these are the more pertinent in the context of religion. I hope this helps. God bless. ♥

@@cvs-podcast nope, Dualism is a philosophical concept that posits the existence of two fundamentally distinct and separate substances or principles in the universe, typically applied to the mind and body. In the context of mind-body dualism, it suggests that the mind and the physical body are separate entities with different natures, where the mind is non-physical or immaterial, while the body is physical. This theory raises questions about how these two aspects interact and relate to each other, leading to ongoing debates in philosophy and psychology regarding the nature of consciousness and the mind's relationship to the body.

What is essential to knowledge is that we should know God Himself and not ideas about God ie: that we should know the spirit and in the spirit. But this is utterly impossible if there be objectification.

I think this is what used to be called “cross dressing” that is males who got off as dressing as females and in female clothes while still retaining their identity as “male”. The question I would have is how does he experience himself - he uses a “they” pronoun but does that mean he does not identify as male - but in terms of public personna - who cares? A new social identity is being created “they” or “trans” - I have no objection to that as a social identity - where it comes a problem is if this person now chooses to self identity as “woman” as a social identity - I think that is the crux of the debate Amon the social identity marker of woman - those who identify within this social identity group have to decide if a trans woman is woman as men have to decide if a trans woman is a man. So let me ask you this. If a trans man came to the steel plant and wanted to be identified as Bob a male - would you have a problem with referring and seeing Bob as male I sent my brother a picture of a cross dresser. This is what he told me. My brother is an academic with many credentials. What do you think?

I have a problem perpetuating the lie that a so-called "trans-woman" is a woman or that the so-called "trans-man" is a man. Men are men, women are women, and no amount of perverted fantasy can change God's wholesome reality. So no, I would not knowingly cater to pronouns. I may be tricked into slipping up, but I will never knowingly perpetuate the Satanic agenda.

why do priests wear frocks? and what's with the silly hats? god seems preoccupied with hats, nearly all religions have a silly hat, but god isn;t bothered at all by footwear - don't you find that weird?
