Awsome.. I was really hoping this was possible and was wondering y nobody was doing it. I'm getting mine tomorrow. Can't wait!

so essentially you're splitting the potential water pushing power of the gyre from 100 % in one direction,,, to approx 50% water pushing/pulling power to both directions.

If i bought 2 and placed them horizontally at each end of my 6' tank, will i should be able to just have them function at alt time so one comes on for a min, turns off then the other turns on? Additionally, would i be able to setup the two where as one would push water forward while the other is in reverse then after a min or 2 have them switch roles? Hoping to better create wave surge in this respect. Also, is there a nighttime mode that allows the pumps to tone down flow speed automatically? Thanks.

Is there any way of controlling the Gyre with an Apex, or Reefkeeper system? Or any plans for an interface in the future?

Currently there is not a way to control the Gyre pump by controllers such as the Apex but we do plan on having an advanced controller available later this year.

Also, is there any way to run 2 Gyre's together in an an alternating mode, like you would with the "other" controllable wavemakers?

The simple controller that currently comes with the Gyre does not allow for slave and master type setups. The advanced controller will allow such a function when it becomes available.

Problem I have is on the low speeds it hangs up. So just keep it higher for now.

Can you use a basic plug in timer to Turn the gyre ON and OFF so that it can mimic a night and day water flow?
