A teacher is calm because they want to spread their knowledge. Shelton is clearly big on passing on what he has learned, even if he learned it the hard way. An old school guy who had all the modern talents, very few like him in the business these days. He’ll either be the head coach at the performance centre or the best shoot wrestling podcaster in no time. Quote me lol.

With all the stories coming out of AEW where wrestlers are crying to management and the Dirtsheets, it's refreshing to hear Shelton saying that he doesn't throw people under the bus and that he takes his problems up with the people personally.
@jamesedmonds751911 ай бұрын
AEW is a locker room full of untrained morons who don't listen to guys who've actually got over in front of a mainstream audience. Of course they don't know how to conduct themselves.

I'd love an eddie guerrero biopic if it was done right and wwe didn't have all the control. He was my favorite as a kid along with Batista and I think something like that could be great

I've seen him live a couple times too (once being an amazing match with him and Haas wrestling Eddie and Chavo), and he was always 200 percent into it like they were in the main event or wrestling for a title. My dad was there with me once and even being someone who isn't huge into wrestling, he was like oh yeah they take it really seriously and I get why you guys care so much to watch them.

One of if not my favourite live match was one with Haas and Benjamin wrestling Eddie and Chavo. I can't remember if they had split from Angle yet, but they played to the crowed like it was the main event and worked a believable tag match which sadly becomes rarer and rarer. Nobody in the arena blinked, and even my dad who isn't really into wrestling could understand why people were so into it.

Eddie Guerrero was an absolute legend as a pro wrestler and an even better person. He helped so many people become better. Shelton never got the real chance to show off his full potential as a main event guy. He wasn’t great on the microphone but damn he was great in the ring. I hope Shelton gets a shot somewhere before he retires.

I just imagined it as Shelton told the story and I laughed out loud at the finish .😂 Was it a house show or was this on TV, does anyone know which match he’s talking about or when it took place? I just watched their tag team title match on February 6 and that right there was a great tag match, I wasn’t expecting it to be that good.

It seems everyone has a story where they realize theyre now the senior in the room and theyve gotta start helping and teach. I saw a clip of Xavier Woods where he was playing games with people and he looked around and realized he was one that had been there the longest and went, "Oh uh...actually i guess we should be watching tapes. Wait are we Taker now???" I need an adult, oh no i am the adult. Sounds like that was Eddie's moment.

I've been watching attitude era in chronological order since the 1997 royal rumble, I'm about to start with 2000 and don't get me wrong the shows are still quality but they just aren't quite hitting as hard as they did in 98 and 97, a part of me just wants to skip ahead to the superstars I grew up with like Shelton, Haas, Angle, Shawn, Orton, Batista, RVD, Mysterio, Benoit, Guerreros and so on, us ruthless aggression-early pg era kids didn't know how good we had it until it was gone
@AlexSanchez-tj4ph Жыл бұрын
Wtf this is exactly what I’m doing except I went all the way back to 1993 wanted to experience the new generation era and my exact thoughts and starts slowing down late 1999 and on. I grew up during the ruthless aggression era and want to skip ahead so bad lol but I put in too much time gotta keep at it.

@@thesegafan4472 Don’t get me wrong it was hard but I’m a big mark for Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels/ Razor Ramon so that made it worth it to me. Made me a even bigger fan of them but I’m also watching wcw doing the Monday night wars and right now it’s a struggle watching wcw lol
@KasanovaKee325 Жыл бұрын
2000 was actually the best year of the attitude era.
@murmursmeglos Жыл бұрын
The best year of the company is probably 2000, a polished version of the attitude era. One major thing against the ruthless aggression era is that it kills the tag division. 2002-03 is fine but once you get to 2004-06 its basically dead and it's depressing. They had no excuse as they had 2 shows and 2 divisions to make something of and yet both suck balls.

Leaves a very bad taste. Eddie's family is LEGENDARY in Mexican Wrestling. He HELPS work with these guys & WWE totally goes the other way. They could've rode with Benjamin & Haas as a team or singles. Its very annoying to hear this years later, the wasted efforts 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@StevenR84 Жыл бұрын
I don't remember this though I remember Shelton Benjamin with Charlie Haas beat Los Guerreros for the tag team title. Eddie Guerrero was not a better mentor than Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar even if he was your partner and younger than you. I would like to know if he is 😃 of Chad Gable's future match on Raw for the intercontinental title? You beat Randy Orton and Bray to win the tag team titkes, you really good partner, not like John Cena, 8 days in 3 reigns, is easy to work with you!
