@VazzVegas Rey remembers the match. He just didn't remember the Chokeslam because, as he said, his memory of the stretcher spot was stronger. Also, as many matches as he's had and as old as he is, he's bound to forget details here and there. I would say, though, given his reactions in this video, that he never really went back to watch the match to see it from the television camera's perspective. I'm guessing he doesn't really go back to watch his televised matches.

Imagine what it was like when the kids who grew up in the 80s found out Hulk Hogan didn't get that strong because of vitamins and prayers As bad as it was in the early 2000s, it was even worse in the 80s and 90s Thankfully, the newer generations learned. They aren't squeaky clean, but you have a generation of guys like CM Punk and Danielson who are known straight edges.

@@mrcool1519 Not really, thats just rose tinted glasses. Like theres a reason almost all those guys from the 80s are dead, and even a lot of the attitude era guys are in pretty bad shape nowadays. The quality of the top guys now is just as good as it was back then. Like if you think back to the midcard of the attitude era or the Hogan era, they were mostly pretty terrible. Those big eras were so memorable because they had memorable main eventers. Ruthless Aggression era had some better midcard acts, but nobody remembers the worst stuff like Kenzo Suzuki or Renee Dupree or all the terrible women's matches. Right now is probably one of the best eras in wrestling history, AEW shaking up the WWE monopoly and Vince finally getting kicked to the curb has made for some of the best things to happen in wrestling since the Ruthless Aggression era.

@@knightshousegames Nice try, smark rhetoric doesn't work on me. Wrestling has been dead ever since the industry started pandering to smarks. All those old timers who are supposedly in bad shape (umm pretty sure old people in general are in bad shape... because they're you know old...) because they gave everything they had and more to entertain people...these new guys can't even be asked to hit the gym or simply stay off social media...this is by far the worst timeline in wrestling history... AEW is a joke, WWE has been a joke for ages now. All the drugs and stuff was just part of the sacrifice needed for awesome wrestling, this is too much for smark brain to handle.
