I truly believe that Santino Marella was one of the best and iconic comedic characters to ever grace WWE. I also believe that Santino was also underappreciated and underutilized to some extent pertaining to how over he was. Case and point: losing the Royal Rumble to Alberto del Rio (we know how Alberto turned out) and losing to Bryan Danielson (a.k.a. Daniel Bryan) at Elimination Chamber.

I also agree that Santino deserves the Hall of Fame, even if not necessarily soon. While not the greatest at anything, he still was seen by everyone as someone who worked hard, made a good enviroment on the lockeroom, did the best out of what he was handed, never complained and on top of that, he still managed to became one of the most iconic characters in WWE during the Ruthless Aggression era, which is even more impressive when you look at the names that were around during that time. I would also love to see WWE acknowleging him as Ariana Grace's dad on a show, maybe by having her winning the NXT North American championship and him coming to the ring to celebrate with her or have she winning a battle royal and having her aunt come out, fans would make a huge pop and lose their minds
