Warum ich dieses Video veröffentliche ?
1. Um allen NICHT Funkamateuren zu zeigen, daß es auf Kurzwelle möglich ist mit einem Funkgerät
und einem Stück Draht in der Luft weltweit Kontakt mit anderen Funkamateuren aufzunehmen,
wie in diesem Video mit USA, Wisconsin (GANZ OHNE SERVER, OHNE RELAIS, OHNE RANGE
EXTENSION).
2. Um zu zeigen daß ein QSO nicht zwingend in Highspeed gefahren werden muß sondern auch mit
20 WPM Spaß machen kann.
3. Um zu zeigen daß es außer (599 und Tschüss DX QSOs) auch noch DX QSOs gibt in denen der
Name, Standort, Stationsbeschreibung, Wetterbericht und weitere Infos ausgetauscht werden.
Für mich wieder ein herausragendes Erlebnis und ein DX QSO an das ich mich gerne erinnere.

Why do I publish this video ?
1. To show all NOT radio amateurs that it is possible to contact other radio amateurs on shortwave
with a radio and a piece of wire in the air to make contact worldwide, like in this video with USA, Wisconsin (WITHOUT SERVER, WITHOUT RELAY, WITHOUT ANY RANGE EXTENSION).
2. To show that a QSO does not have to be done in highspeed, but also in 20 WPM can be fun.
3. To show that besides (599 and Bye QSOs) there are also DX QSOs in which the name, location,
station description, weather report, etc. are exchanged.
For me again an outstanding experience and a DX QSO I remember with pleasure.

Super! Kaum gewünscht schon geliefert! Hi, hi. Vielen Dank! Ich war vor 35 Jahren sehr aktiv aber nie in CW. Jetzt lebe ich in NW Thailand und möchte genau solche QSOs führen: lang, ohne Computer, nur mit meiner Begali-Taste. Zu meiner Freude habe ich von deinem QSO alles verstehen können. Mit dem neuen Video war Zufall. Bin dabei von jedem Kontinent eine Station zu arbeiten und zu verfilmen. Asien und Australien/Ozeanien dürfte schwieriger werden. Südliches Afrika ist auch schon im Kasten, muß nur noch geschnitten werden. Mal sehn wie es weitergeht. Dir wünsche ich noch viel Spaß beim Lernen. 73, Andy DL6FA

Inspiring! Thanks for sharing. I've also got a TS-890 and I've been working on learning CW for a few months, including joining the Long Island CW Club. I've got the Kenwood 270Hz roofing filter sitting in the box, I'll be installing it as a celebration once I accomplish my first CW QSO.

Hello Roger, I'm happy for everyone who learns CW and has fun doing it. If you keep at it you will make it too. By the way, the Kenwood TS890 is an excellent device with a brilliant receiver. Another tip, do you know the book by N0HFF "The Art & Skill of Radio-Telegraphy"? If not, google the title and download it. It's free ! It contains a lot of important and interesting information for anyone who wants to learn telegraphy. It is for both beginners and advanced, so to speak, the bible for telegraph operators. If you should already know it, everything is fine. I wish you a lot of fun learning and that you will soon have your first CW QSO to install the 270 Hz filter.
