Warum ich dieses Video veröffentliche ?
1. Um allen NICHT Funkamateuren zu zeigen, daß es auf Kurzwelle möglich ist mit einem Funkgerät
und einem Stück Draht in der Luft weltweit Kontakt mit anderen Funkamateuren aufzunehmen,
wie in diesem Video mit Südafrika (GANZ OHNE SERVER, OHNE RELAIS,
OHNE RANGE
EXTENSION).
2. Um zu zeigen daß ein QSO nicht zwingend in Highspeed gefahren werden muß sondern auch mit
21 WPM Spaß machen kann.
3. Um zu zeigen daß es außer (599 und Tschüss DX QSOs) auch noch DX QSOs gibt in denen der
Name, Standort, Stationsbeschreibung, Wetterbericht und weitere Infos ausgetauscht werden.
Für mich wieder ein herausragendes Erlebnis und ein DX QSO an das ich mich gerne erinnere.

Why do I publish this video ?
1. To show all NOT radio amateurs that it is possible to contact other radio amateurs on shortwave
with a radio and a piece of wire in the air to make contact worldwide, like in this video with South Africa (WITHOUT SERVER, WITHOUT RELAY, WITHOUT ANY RANGE EXTENSION).
2. To show that a QSO does not have to be done in highspeed, but also in 20 WPM can be fun.
3. To show that besides (599 and Bye QSOs) there are also DX QSOs in which the name, location,
station description, weather report, etc. are exchanged.
For me again an outstanding experience and a DX QSO I remember with pleasure.

Hello Moe, thank you for your positive feedback. I don't think it's worth making a video for my little station. It is really quite simple. But I can give you a parts list with everything included. My station consists of: - Kenwood TS890 transceiver - MFJ DELUXE VERSA TUNER II (antenna tuner) - RG213 antenna cable - Power supply 30Ampere - Begali paddle, type: Sculpture Janus For portable operation I still have an old Kenwood TS850 (excellent unit) and a Bencher Paddle. Log program for QSOs/Contest is called "UCXlog", a very good software to download, just type in Google. That's all. Wish you best 73, Andy DL6FA
