This is hands down the most entertaining CW video on KZbin! Nice job. I’ve got the SW-3B-solid little radio. Noticed your side tone pitch shifted a couple times. What’s your first impression of the rig? I keep telling myself I don’t need another radio, but they keep making these cool CW rigs!

Good catch. I noticed in K4SWL's video that the radio had AGC issues. Those seem to have been addressed prior to my rig shipping. But whatever fix he did somehow translated to variable sidetone. I wonder if it's only on the transmit side or if those on the other end, hear that as well on the receive side.... Of course, it is a spy radio so this sort of functionality could be intentional. It makes it harder to decipher which signal is which. Brilliant!

Fun video! A couple of times during the video the sidetone on the radio seemed to change frequency while you were sending. Was that an artifact in the video or was it like that live?
