Well all I can say is God Bless Buddy for taking the time and showing an interest in a child that he believes shows promise in the music business. Not many stars of Buddy's caliber would take the time or be bothered with it.

I did not say that- but you cannot deny that life for a guy like Jimi to become what he was demanded much more determination than today life for this kid or others.

Quinn, Wonderful pickin' indeed! I play fiddle in your Dad's band, you remember me? Keep up the good work, I enjoy these videos of you very much. Your Dad is very proud of you. See ya soon, Davy P.

I love at about 2:14 he jumps into a solo, mid-way through a verse, and throws the whole band for a loop. He doesn't yet fully understand the chemistry of music, and how it is put together. His hands just move fast on the guitar for a young kid. Give him time though.
@Smoothways16 жыл бұрын
look at it from this perspective: today making kids stars is an income for the parents and future for the kid so they welcome their kids being passionate for sports, arts, music...etc 50 years ago not so much - you were not supported in one of those areas because it was never sure whether or not you could make a living. So the kid had to do this against their parent' s will...and how amzing is that for talent?!

I saw this kid last nite with buddy guy . He knows what to play, when to play and how to play it. He's easily better than Buddy Guy. Or at least I'd rather listen to him play guitar than buddy. Obv buddy is a legend but never known for his guitar playing prowess.

I'm not so sure he earned it. At 3 years old he was definitely pressured into playing guitar...but found he liked it. Having a father established in the music business also helps.

he needs to slow down more when hes playing. Its not all about speed. Like what jimi hendrix once said Its not the notes you play but how you play them

Kids got major talent. But, he needs to work around buddys vocal lines, harmonize with them. Here he's stepping on them and powering them. I'm not too much into what he's playing this time. Last vid was much better, imo.

I agree totally. Quinn is no doubt a child prodigy but he does lack chemistry playing with a band. If he learns simplicity with notes and learns not to over power other players he be good to go IMO. Kids amazing regardless though.
