I've dabbled in Wing Chun over the years and this guy is not bad. I like his applications of Sil Lim Tao on the TV show. To all the haters, you can criticize someone's skills but you don't need to attack someone's character. That's pretty low.

the application is quite smooth. but this version of Siu Nim Tao is not that reasonable , many strange points. By the capability of this Sifu , he should play very good.

It's an exhibition, not real combat 😅 In real combat this may work, maybe not, such as all styles do, we see how muay thai fighters lower the opponent's guarding hand to strike and that's trapping attack afterall...

@@cjtouhey you just wanna see a kung fu guy fighting?? I don't know if he's good or bad, what I'm sure is that he's a human library with lots of knowledge and that makes him a good master :D Think of it, cus D'amato wasn't a boxer but he trained the best boxers, the same with it, this is a problem in kung fu, too many trainers, but there're no fighters, maybe 1-2... I personally love to hang around with friends and fight them using protections, that makes you improve and get better on the fighting, but, also this aproach I'm talking bout is for normal people like us who wanna learn how to fight but we do not compite in MMA, boxing etc combat sports in general... (Also we're not going to war like in the past with swords, spear, shields...) See sanda competitions, that's gong fu👍😁 this is kung fu but once you put preassure on the game this (that are just resources to apply one by one when the situation ask for it) this becomes the same as we see in UFC, bellator, one, etc. If you ask me what is kung fu, kung fu is mixed martial arts, a punch, a kick, a trapping hand, an evasion, a block, a choke, a throw, etc if you wanna experience kung fu in its full potential, then you must fight someone with no rules... That's reality of martial arts, and that's pretty dangerous, therefore we go to simple games as competition, drill practice, technique practice, improvisation, sparring etc

@@wengchunwingchun398 Nah I like to see thinking. Drills show great determination, dedication, and discipline. However they do not show the persons best and worst sides. I wanna see him spar with someone and see how he thinks about the moves he is using, not just demonstrate them. Yeah he is awesome.

As técnicas poder servir se usar em situação reais....na rua tudo muda e dessa forma nao funciona. Uma coisa é terminarmos com quem.ja conhecemos outra coisa é encontrar um louco pela rua como já encontrei, e o q valeu foi q tinha mais próximo pra usar como defesa um mundo real não é um cinema, apesar de wing chun te uma técnica muito boas.

This is how I like to use and see win chun hitting is not something you can do most of the time because off the law and you might kill the guy it is not posible to hit soft because the guy will think o he can not hit so you have to hit the guy hard very very hard you do not know who needs a softer hit so you might kill some people furher you can not go out and break people face break their necjk fighting on the street is not fighting in the ring you get no points no referee so this is the way g

VERY BEAUTIFUL PLASTICLY BUT IT'S A SHAME THAT WING CHUN DOESN'T SHOW 100% EFFICIENCY IN FRONT OF MMA FIGHTERS. EVEN OF OTHER ARTS LIKE KENPO, CAPOEIRA BOXING. IT WOULD BE GOOD IF ALL THE EFFICIENCY WE SEE IN WING CHUN FILMS WE COULD SEE IN REAL FIGHTS.
