Zhongli's is still one of my favorites, but technically speaking it was outclassed in almost every regard AT LEAST at Raiden's demo.

To me the Zhongli demo's quality has become the standard for 5 star characters at this point (even though it far outshone the other demoes at its release), in general, and then add or detract some points for personal preference. I think even recent 4 stars are getting close to that point.

The digital visual in Alhaithams case is probably due to the geometric shapes. Geometric shapes are very logical and can all be measured regardless of how many corners or sides that they have. The reason those geometric shapes remind us of computer games is because of how all computers use pixels and polygons to render things, and that was especially noticeable back in the day. Nowadays video games and other digital media aren't nearly as blocky or geometric (unless it's on purpose) due to how technology has evolved, so the geometric shapes remained associated with video games and digital spaces because, well, after games were able to advance past that they could pretty much look like anything they wanted, so there was no longer a common theme. As for Nahida, not too sure about that one, but it's probably due to the whole Akasha thing. Her skill has some similarities to the akasha system, which was pretty digital.

Everyone: it's a double date! And they're having an affair! Me, a scholar (lmao): They're on their way to making a full quad 👀 I can totally see why people are mentioning the cup though, because Kaveh is actively seen drinking the stuff and his hands or his sight are always on his cup, he's not gonna share. Tighnari is across the table so that's a long way to reach for a sip. Cyno's cup is the only one that moves from his right to his left. Three options here: 1. he holds things with his left (I.e. the cards earlier) and took a sip at some point that we didn't see 2. He wasn't drinking at all and slid his cup over to Alhaitham 3. Option 1 happened and Alhaitham took advantage of the situation to steal a sip while he was talking. (Caught them distracted lmao) I like this one because it was technically foreshadowed at the beginning when Kaveh asked "stronger than you?" to Cyno and we know Cyno is quick on his feet as well as lethal, but Alhaitham is a sneaky and calculating mofo who is all too happy to wait for the right moment to do things, which we also already know from the lore. There's gotta be a way he knew the wine they were drinking was good to ask for it lmao (this is just a HC, don't take it seriously.) Cyyu, don't be upset lol Alhaitham's song is quite catchy and very good, reminds me of movies like Oceans 11, definitely 80's cop movies and old school games but I personally liked Cyno's more; to me it sounds more powerful, it calls out to me more. Ofc, it's all a matter of taste :) have a good time playing with Alhaitham! He's very fun 😊
