D255 is my style of head lamp, but this looks like it's a good alternative to the sp40 for those that want more throw on their noggin. Pretty nice!

Sort of an odd specialty light. All the modes are way too bright for this to be purchased by hikers. Even red light is way too bright. I wonder what the purpose is.
