Lets be honest. If you check the past kogs with this deck on the website, 90% of them use BoM. Sure Dkayed doesn't use BoM here, neither do i, but it's so much more difficult to actually kog with the deck without BoM since it doubles as a block/control for how much battle damage you take, and a stop for monsters that are too big to beat over or monsters that negate effects like bounzer. Also an edit for a turn 1 play if you decide to play vier or open core and a cyber dragon, if your starting hand has a cyberload or overflow, you search which ever you don't have with the core, if you have vier use effect to summon, and set both overflow and core. Stop the play with core, and break backrow during the end phase or whenever is optimal by summoning chimeratech WITHOUT CHAINING FUSION TO ANYTHING.

i feel like cyber dragons are mostly still viable because of the skill. the "Cyber Dragon" deck doesnt even use half the monsters in the archetype. give us newer cards to use and kill the skill so it'll at least add some variety to the deck. it runs the same strategy every time. cyber dragons are stale as hell.

Your point on the viability of the deck being dependent on a particular skill is true for most of the competitive decks in duel links.. It'd be much better if we could rely more on actual good cards that can improve a deck's potential rather than just using cheat skills like onomats, resonators, etc..

With all of their support this deck won’t need a skill to be top tier. Cyber emergency, Cyber revsystem, cyber dragon herz, cyber dragon Nachster, chimeratech fortress dragon, cyber dragon Nova, Cyber dragon infinity. Indirect support like Constellar Pleiades and Jizukiro the star destroying kaiju and Galaxy soldier. But honestly I hope Konami releases more support for older archetypes and complete them to make old decks viable in the meta game like Madolche and such instead of players relying on skills to make a deck “top tier” like a unnerfed onomat deck without the skill would prob do just as good as the nerfed Onomats with their skill.

I want to play many non-meta decks, but whenever I want to build any of them, I see that while decks like Onomat, Cyber Dragons, Gaia, etc., have access to consistency skills, other decks don't have access to those. The best you can do is use Destiny Draw or ETH... The only deck on the Tier List that doesn't use a consistency skill is Thunder Dragons. We used to have a lot of decks that could make use of skills like Balance; now only Triamids can use it...

I lose most of the time against cyber dragons, they always f me over with drowning, sphere Kuriboh and my one hard drew MST most of the time doesn’t even matter because they always have drowning or overflow etc etc. They let you deal some damage to use their skill. Or they’ll cosmic cyclone fusion support herald of the abyss. It’s very hard to do anything against tbh they have all the answers and rampage dragon is just insane in a 4K format. They need to put a monster requirement on Zane's skill and hit fusion support. Cyber dragons constantly play with only 4 monsters and if they put a monster requirement ,similar to a skill like Trey's Gateway skill, this will take out more backrow and require you do be more decisive and THEN put a further LP restriction on Cyber Style to 1000 or less. Use 12 cyber dragon monsters or it doesn't work and only usable at 1000 or less as a last resort skill

After he activated gate with the three cyber dragons on field, he would have had to fuse the proto and core in grave to make rampage, then twin using og and proto, and cyber load in battle phase for game. But that's a pretty hard play for him to make on the spot. After he fused with the og in hand at 10:00, he could no longer make twin because he had a proto in grave. And to get another cyber dragon in grave, you need another rampage mill, which would require fusion support, thus rendering the grave useless. But good point, he did miss lethal, tho it had nothing to do with core and everything to do with the og and proto.

From the standpoint of balancing simply to make the game more diverse, Cydra doesn't need nerfed. It creeps onto the tier list every now and again, but consistently falls off when something newer and more exciting gets released. That said, a fusion deck that's only 20% Monsters is fucking nuts, the skill should probably be tweaked.

BoM is locked behind a selection box so Komoney won't be hitting it anytime soon. But putting Lance to 3!!?? Why just why?? It's a ur and all good backrow removal is ur it's simply a terrible idea.. And the Onomats can be fixed with the ONCE per duel to their skill. And this meta is shit as hell, bringing back any of the old "meta" decks like shira, invoked or crystrons would put the current "meta" decks to shame. Onomats are the most fair "tier 1" deck we've had in a while, it's solely dependent on the skill.

I think there are several reasons why this deck should take nerf only need 4 monster card in deck Easy to Destroy enemy's trap,spell card, it is very hard to stop them just use 3 trap card Skill is insane, summon 2 cyber monster card without no cost(easy to lose lifepoint) When fushion summon, they can use card hand grave banish field zone Easiest deck to one turn kill (this is the reason why this deck get high score in kc)
