I absolutely love these videos. They've inspired me. After dropping out of college and having a daughter, I thought I'd have to do something I hated to make ends meet forever. But now I've decided that my love of color and love of making people smile would be way better served going to cosmetology school and doing hair and makeup. I have watched all your videos and let me just say ughh I wish I could just go to you for every time I want a change in hair! You would be the only person to actually get the hair the way I say. Not that whenever my hairdresser does my hair it doesn't look good cause she does make it look good. But I asked everywhere to get my hair done one time and everyone said they couldn't do it. I know lots of us subbies are asking for a curly hairs client! I feel like natural curls and fashion colors don't mix well. Color placement. You have to have a vision how it will lay considering the hair cut, head shape, natural parting of hair, hair texture when hair is dry, face shape and a lot of other things.

What gray hair dye would you recomend? I tried pravana vivids and its too blue and fades super quick... I had the perfect one and they discontinued it :'(!!! I have very dark hair and bleach it to a very pale yellow and toned down with purple shampoo... But im still looking for that perfect gray... I wish i live near you... I do it my self cuz hair dressers here dont seem to understand my hair... I had to pay hundrends and they didnt get it quite right. I ended up with beige instead of gray which later faded into an ugly greenish blond color!!!! Love your vids so much! Heart fan here!

And her hair looks healthy as well-like tbh, when I see people walking around with non-traditional colors in their hair, it doesn't tend to look this healthy, but then again, they're likely not having a pro do it each time. But it looks amazing, I'd love to dye my hair but I have no clue who the best colorists are in the city I live in, & with something like color I'd be afraid to just go to anyone. I wish you were where I live!

cicialexa Honestly it depends on the skill set of the stylist. If they're very high profile, like Guy, it would probably be several hundred dollars. Especially since the charge rate is usually a set price per hour, and the bleaching/coloring process takes *many* hours. A salon near me that does very good work charges $100/hour, but considering Guy is in L.A. and works on very high profile people, it's probably much more

Blue always seems to stain hair !I know you have the best and latest hair color products but for me powdered vitamin c has always worked best on getting blue hair dye out .I admit it is archaic punk rock ghetto method but it is what works !Thanks Guy for sharing your process as well as your lovely client/model Mary!
