I'm really new to the industry, and don't have any formal experience in security yet. However, what attracted me to this industry is that the job is rarely stagnant or repetitive. The challenges I will face will constantly change, and that will in turn force me to constantly be learning, growing, and adding to my skill set to keep up.

Thank you for sharing! It's true that cyber security tends to be a fairly dynamic field but also keep in mind that any career field is going to have some level of repetitiveness to it. One of the benefits of a technology career field is that we can find ways to automate repetitive tasks, which is a huge positive.

I haven’t entered this field but I’m so fascinated by it. I love learning how things in cyber security actually work. Being the defense of a company sounds badass. Learning about technology has always been interesting to me. I am currently preparing for security+ exam and I hope this could get me into the field to really get real life experience.

To expand on the SUID discussion, research file capabilities and process capabilities. They're an older, but largely unused security feature that allows you to launch suid programs without carte blanche root.

I recommend watching the video completely so you understand the entire context and strategy behind answering questions. If you've never heard of the information in the questions or studied it, you need to start with that first because interview questions rarely stop after giving a short answer response.
